Joe Clemente is the owner of the Ciudad Clemente located at Paombong, Bulacan. He is known as a collector of antique and artifacts. He owns a thousand of its. And he said that in Central Luzon its the only museum which contain all the entire collections of artist in Bulacan. And its called the Vissual Art Museum of Bulacan.
The oldest buiding in Ciudad is 75 years and others are astill continuously developing. Each building contains knicknack wood like mahagony and narra. All of its are plan even the gathering of materials that been used. Clemente is also a fashion designer and hes the one who design Ciudad Clemente.
“Ako ang nagdesign, wala akong architect or engineer. Yung mga common na kahoy, pina-enhance ko. It’s a matter of enhancing,”.
The price of the antique he collects are based agreeable price.
In one word he describe the museum as Fantastic like what others say it. Outside its just an ordinary resort with pools, slide, cottage and trees but inside of the building there hide his collection which he is sure all bulakenyos will be proud.
"You only see the place skin-deep. Kapag nakita nyo kung ano talaga ang
pinagmamalaki ko, it is something you as a Bulakenyo will be very proud of”
He expresses his dismay to those people who doesnt understand the love for art and its culture.
"May kasabihan tayong ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan, hindi makakarating sa paroroonan. Marami na ang nawawalang tagapagtaguyod ng Bulacan art".
He estimated that Bulakenyos still have wait Two more year or less sinces the place is still not properly secured and theres no CCTV at the place yet.
Clemente is currently working on documenting his antique and others collections so that he can never be forgotten.
